The purpose of the Accounts Payable Assistant Team Leader role: (Invoice Processing & Supplier Accounts)

The Accounts Payable Assistant Team Leader is to assist the Team Leader in leading, motivating and training their team to ensure the long term, positive Accounts relationship with its Suppliers, Partners and customers. The Assistant Team Leader will also focus on the ongoing growth of Team Members, process improvements and efficiencies. FCTG Supplier Accounts is primarily responsible for invoice processing, Account reconciliation and the associated queries. This involves, but is not limited to account reconciliation, supplier queries and correspondence, Selling Partner queries and invoice discrepancies.

Accountabilities:

• Business Management
• Partnering and building relationships
• Leadership of FCTG Accounts Customer Relations team
• Query Resolution & Supplier, Partner & Customer Relationship
• Intercompany journal and account balance G/L reconciliations

Skills and capabilities:

• Financial skills
• Business acumen
• People developer (coach, develop & champion and embrace change)
• Strong communications skills with all stakeholders
• Excellent back-office system(s) knowledge, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Accounting/Finance /Commerce (Desirable)
• Accounts Payable or P2P Experience (Essential)
• Travel Industry knowledge (Desirable)
