Air and Logistics Consultant

The Air and Land consultant manages bookings after the initial sale and associated needs of customers are met by Ignite Travel Group. You will be expected to coordinate airfares and land content for pre-packaged bookings and assist customer inbound/outbound calls and emails related to Air/Land.

 

Specific Duties:

· Manage inbound and outbound calls related to Air/land and manage the customer service inbox

· Coordinating airfares for pre-packaged cruise bookings

· Managing customers flight deviation requests

· Upsell cabins where required to premium economy, Business and First.

· Ensuring frequent flyer details/ baggage/meals and seating allocation requests are in place at the time of booking

· Ability to search and book complex itineraries(stopovers/surface sectors etc )

· Understanding clients’ needs and requirements and offering the best itinerary within budget requirements

· Sound travel industry product and cruise destination knowledge (advantage)

· Deliver timely and accurate details to ensure a smooth after booking journey

· Documentation

· Booking amendments

· Cancellations

· Completing administrative functions associated with the position in an accurate and timely manner

· Ensuring Company policy and procedure is followed

· GDS Amadeus (preferred) or Sabre/Galileo
