About the Opportunity
Control all cash processes and functions to simplify responsibility for day-to-day cash, delivery and custody operations of cash and other value documents. Your role will be important in achieving clear cash flow management for the company and to facilitate auditing.
Your main responsibilities are:
On a daily basis, receive and verify the different means of payment such as cash bonuses, cheques, etc. related to, amongst others, the departments of In-destination Sales (IDS) Host, Groups, Operations etc. Review that the sales documents are complete and comply with the policies set out by the company.
Verify that the forms of payments made by the IDS Host are correctly applied within Tourplan's system and that they in turn match the cashier information, in the same way by means of deposit cards.
Check daily that the sales reports generated within TP's system are in line with the values you received in both cash and other forms of payment and everything is protected in the safe.
Perform support in VAT output recognition, reconciliation and declaration as well as other periodic financial and accounting reports.
Make credit card returns (with the requirements set out in the procedure for these cases) from representatives for cancellations and/or refunds. In case of cash returns you will have to request authorisation from your immediate supervisor while maintaining internal control of the finance department for these cases.
About you
The Essentials:
A bachelor's degree or certificate in accounting and/or administration or final order is required
Minimum 3 years of experience in the position
Intermediate English
Experience in handling suppliers
Knowledge of Banking Procedures
Experience in internal administrative and accounting control

Able to work under pressure and juggle multiple tasks
Ability to work in a team
Proactive, solution-focused and excellent problem-solving skills
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to be flexible and implement changes when needed
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Discova’s systems would be an advantage
