About the Opportunity:

As our Communications Coordinator you are a key part of the Flight Centre Travel Group Communications Team that is responsible for implementing internal and external communications strategies. These strategies support our multiple brands and key stakeholders across our global business.

In this role you will be taking an integrated approach to designing and executing communications strategies, campaigns and plans.

This is a hands-on role, where no two days are the same. You’ll be working across the full spectrum of communications, from creating and sending internal email campaigns, assisting with our external recruitment marketing campaigns, working with our inhouse videographer to direct video shoots, to supporting our events team to produce our world-renowned employee events.  This is the role that will boost your communication skill set to levels your peers can only dream about. 

Our Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related fields OR equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 2 years in a similar role.
  • Experience using digital platforms similar to HubSpot, Mail Chimp, SharePoint etc
  • Proven experience in writing compelling content for social media, websites, newsletters, and email campaigns.
  • Proven experience in creating digital content (e.g. web and email banners etc) in Canva or Adobe InDesign/Illustrator.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong partnerships. We value curiosity!
  • Ability to contribute to communication strategies from the ground up and help the team execute with confidence.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service to all our internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent time-management skills.
  • Ability to prioritise your workload.
  • Be self-driven and adaptable.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Most important - exceptional communication skills!
