About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a Contracting Manager to join our global family in Vietnam. The role of the Contracting Manager is to be responsible for the contract negotiation and management of the product portfolio. 

They will build and foster strong supplier and industry relationships to ensure competitive product that maximizes profitability for the business and delights our customers. This position requires a self-starter who has proven analytical skills, excellent product knowledge, and has an eye for details.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage all supplier purchasing for the region, developing and maintaining healthy relationships with suppliers.
  • Drive best practice contract negotiations to maximise total contract margin, availability of product and speed to market. 
  • Create competitive product that meets the needs of Discova’s key customer segments - GIT, FIT, Tailor-made and Groups.
  • Ensure a smooth process for all parties regarding the management of contracts
  • Ensure all information is provided to loading teams for effective product loading
  • Prioritise preferred suppliers in all decision-making

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • BA degree in a relevant field of 3 years of experience in Product Management
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the travel industry
  • Minimum two years’ contract negotiation experience
  • Fluent in written and spoken English

  • Well-developed and proven problem-solving skills
  • Customer-centric with a commitment to high standards of service delivery
  • Excellent communication skills with people across cultures
  • Strong commercial acumen with an eye for the analytics
  • Proficient with all Microsoft applications
