Corporate Training Specialist Americas – Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary

As a training specialist, you will play an integral role in facilitating and executing employee development programs in our Corporate Business. As your career progresses you will have the ability to design and organize training courses by combining creativity, research, and analysis of existing materials.

Learning and Development planning for onboarding and rollouts along with enrollment coordination and logistics will provide you an opportunity to work with other department professionals and employees on an interpersonal level. You will work with the team to facilitate trainings and oversee employee participation across the Americas.

  • Develop training materials by completing thorough research and assessing the employment needs of our Corporate business
  • Onboarding and Reboarding Corporate consultants
  • Delivery of classroom, virtual and person to person training of the Learning Pathways. To ensure that all participants have a positive learning experience and that they emerge from the training holding the knowledge and skills required to be successful as Travel Consultants, as measured by relevant KPIs.
  • Evaluate teaching methods to select the options that will aid in the delivery of concepts without unnecessary distraction, downtime, or confusion
  • To undertake the development of writing new training modules, constructed to enable skills and knowledge to be mastered quickly and effectively by participants.
  • Create and update course content to be delivered through all methods available, in person, virtual, self-guided and peer to peer
  • Create workflows and work with other departments to enhance rollouts of new products in our Corporate Business
  • Oversee general administrative duties, such as coordinating enrollment, scheduling class times and locations and sending invitation information to all trainees


  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an Corporate FCTG role
  • Ability to travel within USA, Canada and International
  • At least three years of experience in providing instruction to a group of people - preferred
  • Familiarity with different teaching methods and materials - preferred
  • Working Knowledge of online graphic design tools - preferred
  • Experience in Adult Training, Design and Facilitation - preferred
