About the Opportunity
As a Data Engineer within the Data and Analytics Team, you will have a key role in building and enhancing our regional data and analytics pillar. You will be working alongside Data Engineers, Data Analysts and business stakeholders to support various data, analytics and reporting initiatives.
You will be reporting directly to the Head of Data and Analytics, Asia. You can look forward to working in a supportive and collaborative team environment, with a high degree of independence.
Qualifications
A degree in Computing, Engineering or related technical discipline.
Demonstrable knowledge and experience with building and maintaining data infrastructure and ecosystem (databases, data lake, data warehouse, data marts, etc.) to support the data, analytics & reporting workflow.
Demonstrable knowledge and experience in implementing DevOps CI/CD and ETL & ELT pipelines to achieve high data integrity and reliability.
Demonstrable knowledge and experience in programming. Python, PySpark and SQL are preferred.
Demonstrable knowledge and experience with Azure Data Stack (Data Lake, Data Factory, Databricks, DevOps, etc.).
Personal Attributes
Strong data mining and modeling skills with excellent business acumen to implement data solutions to support the data, analytics & reporting requirements.
Methodological and systematic to produce high quality and reliable deliverables. Demonstrable portfolio of analytical work with high quality coding and documentation practices.
Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate and develop good working relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills to communicate and present information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrable portfolio of presentation materials covering both technical and non-technical aspects.
