Flight Centre Travel Group is looking for an EUC Engineer.
The Role:
The EUC Engineer role is crucial to the build and support of End User Compute services across Enterprise Technology Services (ETS). The EUC Engineer has a specialised knowledge in EUC technologies and enjoys solving problems. The EUC Engineer keeps up to date with the latest developments and trends in the industry and reports to the Engineering Lead for End User Compute. The role will include a mix of responsibilities between general BAU support as well as providing expert knowledge and experience on small to large projects across the EUC pillar.
Responsibilities:
Administration and Management of the following applications and services
MS Intune, Kace, Endpoint Manager and other MDM MAM platforms
Microsoft and Citrix Virtual Desktop
End user experience monitoring
Print, PC, Macs, thin clients, video conference and other device hardware management
Software asset management
Ensures systems, solutions, and policies are thoroughly maintained and documented
Identifies & implement optimization and automation opportunities
Analyses existing EUC systems and operations and develops preventative maintenance strategies
Offers 3rd level support to implemented solutions
Works with vendors to resolve incidents when appropriate
Plans, schedules and monitors work to meet time and quality targets.
Facilitates collaboration between stakeholders who share common objectives.
Selects appropriately from applicable standards, methods, tools and applications.
Understands the importance of security to own work and the operation of the organisation.
Seeks specialist security knowledge or advice when required to support own work or work of immediate colleagues.
Communicates complex information to a non-technical audience
Experience and Qualifications:
Modern Desktop Administrator Associate Certification
Minimum 2 years Administrator/Engineer experience in an M365 environment
Experience with Azure AD
Microsoft Modern Endpoint Management (Windows 10, Intune, AutoPilot, SCCM Co-Management, Enterprise Mobility, iOs and Android)
PowerShell experience is a plus, including experience with M365 admin modules
Experience with VDI Technologies including Citrix Cloud
Experience with application packaging.
