About The Opportunity
The D365 System Administrator L1 will have administration access levels to D365 F&O and govern a broad range of functions. Success will require learning how to collaborate effectively in the business, gaining an understanding of business operations and objectives and working directly with the Senior administrator to learn the various responsibilities. Focus will be on the D365FO Travel module as well as other standard modules within the application.
Must be detailed oriented, have demonstrated communication skills and an ability to comprehend processes and systems associated with data management.
Learn from the ground up how to administer the addition and removal of user access to D365 and resolve D365 related issues due to configuration. Raise system issues with application developers or vendors, as well as improve system functions and processes determined by business objectives.
Shadowing of the Administrator to evaluate and understand business challenges, their technical implications, and potential solutions.
Pick up first level responsibilities around the deployment of the quarterly ISV code releases overseen by the Senior Administrator.
Key Responsibilities
Application configuration (test and production environments) ongoing and after system deployments. Ensure alignment in configuration between production, testing and training environments based on version release schedules
Complete pro-active checks to look for data or system issues, and make configuration updates when identified as the source of an issue
Ensure batch executions are established and working as expected, triaging errors where appropriate
Conduct data clean-up tasks as needed
Testing resource to validate new enhancements and defect fixes related to system administration functions
Business communication of changes to the systems
Working collaboratively with local support teams as a Level 1 Support person ensuring D365 end users receive a seamless and exceptional support experience
Raise cases/defects with Vendors where appropriate (ISV, Microsoft)
Incident Management reporting
Adding and removing users
Triage access issues and escalate to vendors where appropriate
Regular user audits to ensure only current users are charged to the business; removing access/costs and security risks for users no longer needing access
Experience & Qualifications
Experience with Azure, Azure DevOps, software development lifecycles, reading XMLs and IURs
Analyze problems to uncover root cause issues, and take extra steps to find a solution to the problem at hand
Analyze results for trends, process improvement opportunities and take appropriate action to improve results
Ability to communicate to different users of the systems, working with developers, vendors, end-users, and different levels of the business
Ability to liaise with all levels of the business, communicating complex issues into digestible concepts
Willingness to help manage issues until resolved, while working with multiple teams to ensure tasks are completed appropriately and on time
Documents processes to ensure systems run smoothly
Follows and administers steps to ensure risks of issues are minimized
Understands why processes and steps are taken rather than merely following a checklist without any thought to what functions are impacted
Extremely detailed individual, understanding the impacts of making, what may be perceived as minor, changes as an administrator will have on numerous users and integrated systems
Gaining knowledge of system frameworks and interconnected systems including Sabre, RDX, D365, ClientBank, Filebridge
Drive for continuous learnings to best utilize the systems, improve performance and processes

Experience with Corporate Traveler and/or FCM preferred
Understranding XML & IUR
Experience with Dynamics365
Microsoft Office (word, excel, csv, powerpoint)
