The Global SEO Manager, will drive global SEO strategy and implementation for Flight Centre Travel Group’s corporate brands. This role leverages a strong understanding of all facets of in Search Engine Optimization. This individual is part of the global marketing framework, will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and delivery of the Global SEO strategy.
Candidates should have an high working knowledge of current SEO best practices (technical and content), Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google My Business.
Responsibilities
Work closely with Global Digital leaders and and regional marketing marketing hubs to establish a coordinated SEO Strategy that has both global and regional facets.
Work closely with the global marketing team to create a SEO program of work that increases brand visibility, traffic and leads for the business.
First, understand the business and our challenges and goals in developing a smart plan.
Perform keyword research and competitive analysis
Devise and execute methods to track, report, analyze and improve SEO performance
Undertake technical SEO audits of global and regional brand sites.
Develop new SEO tests and strategies
Provide timely and valued insights to regional hubs and global stakeholders on SEO performance.
Manage websites as they pertain to SEO across all corporate brands for regional and global teams.
Implement technical SEO audits and changes within content management systems.
Work with the internal web development teams to continually improve SEO rankings.
Assist with the planning, creation, and optimization of content in collaboration with local digital managers and content writers.
Serve as the key SEO expert/advocate for FCTG Corporate brands.
Present and communicate SEO strategies and projects to internal stakeholders
Keep up-to-date with latest SEO trends, strategies and algorithm changes
Manage the operational aspects of SEO platforms and tools including user licences, training, access and usage.
Skills & Capabilities
High level of knowledge of technical, on-page, off-page, and local SEO best practices & strategies.
An essential part of the role is to understand the principles of B2B marketing and how to implement activities that will have an impact on brand and sales.
Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google My Business and martech tools as related to SEO including SEMRush. Experience in Druple CMS desirable.
Work closely with other departments and the corporate marketing teams to create consensus, build plans, and track progress.
Qualifications
2+ years SEO related experience.
Graduate Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Analytics or related disciple preferred
Google Analytics Certification
