Position Title:  Field Sales Specialist

The GOGO Vacations Field Sales Specialist  is a highly motivated individual whose role involves owning our ever-changing client business and relationship development.  The primary focus of this role is to work with our customers across the country while also supporting the BDM team members nationwide. The primary goal of this role is annual business growth year over year through our GOGO Vacations field sales team.  The role will possess knowledge of the North American travel industry landscape including both business to business (B2B) and business to consumer (B2C) travel distribution models as well as knowledge of the vacation products and destinations which we sell.  Expert knowledge of our company value propositions, our sales operations departments and company offerings; will lead to the successful fulfillment of this role.  The role will require a high degree of flexibility in day-to-day operations, thinking “outside the box”, possessing the ability to plan while also the ability to adjust & adapt to a constantly changing environment.  Key to this role will be working and collaborating with cross-functional teams (sales engagement team, sales operations, marketing, product and support areas).

Customer Relationship Management

  • Email management and support of our main GOGO BDM email inbox
  • Managing all new travel agency set up and registration
  • Managing, validating, and registering new advisor registration requests
  • Provide virtual system training with customers as directed
  • As needed attend social and business events for the purpose of business prospect and development and client relationships with the goal of obtaining new business
  • To resolve customer service challenges while working hand in hand with sales operations on resolution

Communication, Reporting, Administration & Implementation

  • Adhering to all company Salesforce requirements
  • To participate in internal company calls and webinars as required
  • To provide a weekly updates/reports of business progress
  • Actively develop industry-specific and specialized knowledge within the travel industry to be a source of information for accounts and sales team alike 


  • Bachelor's degree and/or 5 years’ experience in sales, with a preference in the travel industry
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills.  Bilingual a plus, English and Spanish
  • Experienced with Salesforce, Microsoft Office products (Word & PowerPoint) and Social Media platforms
  • Self-starter, resourceful and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • To undertake administrative or general office duties as delegated by the executive leadership team
  • To embrace Flight Centre Travel Group USA Inc.’s Company philosophies and the GOGO Vacations Service Level Agreements
  • To be open and accepting of Company and Industry change
  • To provide information (market intelligence) collected from clients, suppliers, and others which assist executive leadership in making informed decisions about the business
  • Promote effective communication ensuring accuracy of brand and account related materials while using discretion with confidential company information
  • Adept at working from home, a private area to work in free of interruptions
