About the Business 

Global Supply is Flight Centre Travel Group’s global in-house product procurement and consolidation business, servicing a number of Flight Centre’s worldwide selling businesses including Retail, in-country support, Liberty Travel, GoGo Worldwide Vacations and Flight Centre Asia.

Job Purpose 

HELiO is Flight Centre's one-stop booking engine/platform.

The HELiO Support team provides an effective helpdesk by supporting our selling partners, suppliers, and Flight Centre internal businesses by phone, email, queue and chat.

In this role, you will assist the Team Leader in leading the team of support professionals by ensuring effective processes are in place and adhered to by providing necessary tools and training.

The position includes a 24/7 rotating roster inclusive of public holidays and reports to the Support Team Leader.

Role may be based in Brisbane or Sydney, with remote/flexible workplace arrangements available.

Skills and Experience 

  • Minimum two years’ experience in a high volume, customer service-based call centre/helpdesk environment (this is not an IT role)
  • Travel or hotel industry experience with exposure to travel/reservations systems (e.g. HELiO, TravelBox, HotelHub, Calypso), to have an understanding of the complexities of global booking systems
  • Microsoft Office suite with strong Excel skills
  • Ability to coach, develop and  and empower team members in a positive manner
  • Excellent communication skills, both written, verbal and via chat services
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Effective decision maker to provide timely solutions to our customers in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and level of accuracy

In reward for your commitment and performance you will receive:

  • Generous remuneration structure (OTE $66,000 + super/incentives) and Employee Share Scheme
  • This is primarily a remote role with minimum office days required
