WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We’re seeking a customer focused ICT Support Officer to join our amazing team.

Our ICT Support Officer is responsible for:

  • Provide first point of ICT Support contact for all ITG staff across the network and remotely.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues to resolution and/or escalate to supplier or partner organisations as required.
  • Log all incidents and service requests in ITG designated service desk system.
  • Manage service desk tickets, planning and prioritising systematically to minimise backlog and ensure operational efficiency
  • Report as specified, document and ensure all software is patched/updated to the latest vendor specifications, including but not limited to windows, virus protection and key applications within the business
  • Expedite the repair of hardware faults and software configuration problems, notifying or forwarding to relevant suppliers in a timely manner
  • Monitor performance of ITG systems, ensuring issues are appropriately escalated and resolved
  • Provide technical assistance to ITG teams and undertake technical project roles when required
  • Demonstrate commitment to and promotion of a culture of service excellence and continual improvement within the ICT team
  • Maintain and develop excellent working relationships with key suppliers, conducting dealings in a professional and appropriate manner
  • Assist with ongoing enforcing, development, training and documentation of related departmental policies and procedures, including appropriate controls around organisational change management

WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:

  • Positive attitude, an ability to work in a team and will put the customer first
  • Skills with Microsoft Windows support, Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Proven experience with cloud solutions such as Microsoft 365
  • Experience supporting desktops, laptops, and printers
  • Good understanding of general ICT & networking
