About the Opportunity

We are looking for Sales Representative to join the team in Phuket, Thailand. As a member of Discova you will be a part of a passionate sales team of Sales Representative who are committed to consistently delivering an excellent customer experience and take pride in being the face of Discova. We are looking for someone who is self-driven and strong in sales skills to introduce company products to potential customers and close sales.

Sales Representative responsibilities include researching competing products, identifying opportunities to increase sales, and assisting in the development and execution of sales plans. You should also be able to answer customers’ questions regarding product pricing, availability, features, and benefits. Your interactions with clients and potential clients require you to have great persuasion and negotiation skills. You must also be socially perceptive, which means you can easily figure out what someone is thinking without him or her telling you. As an Sales Representative, you are responsible to meet and exceed individual as well as team sales targets, consistently delivering a high-quality customer sales experience, and thriving in the high-performing team environment.

To be successful as Sales Representative you should demonstrate strong negotiation skills and convince customers to purchase company products. Ultimately, top-performing Sales Representative should achieve exceptional customer service and ensure that purchased products are delivered to customers in a timely manner and continually meet or exceed sales targets to earn more of your sales commission in return.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent Discova and welcome guests within 24h of arrival.
  • Resolve customer service issues to customer’s satisfaction with appropriate corrective and preventive measures.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with local hoteliers, excursion agents and travel companies.
  • Service all customer enquiries professionally and efficiently within expected business turnaround time.
  • When required, meet and greet customers upon arrivals at the airport.
  • Offer every customer tour and other activities with preferred suppliers or Discova branded products.
  • When required, Sales Representative to manage and operate the Tour Desks.
  • Ensuring welcome packs, company branding, and other collateral is in line with one best way and presentable to our customers.
  • Post and advertise Discova Local packages via social media.
  • Be contactable 24/7.
  • Prepare and execute monthly sales plan.
  • Daily and weekly tracking of individual sales targets and pipeline reports to be sent daily to the Country Manager.
  • Sign new hotels and other accommodations to use Discova for their tour and transport solutions.
  • Support and train new accounts to increase revenue through the Discova Direct platform.
  • Assist in training and support of new Sales Representatives.
  • Report back to Operations and Product if any health and safety issues or standard breaches.
  • Ask as well as participate in any trainings or upskilling recommended by your leader or you feel relevant to your role.
  • Ensure you maintain up to date with product knowledge and understand Discova offerings.


  • Bachelor degree or a degree in tourism and hospitality is preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a sales team in the tourism industry.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English is required and other European languages would be an advantage

  • Able to work under pressure and juggle multiple tasks and able to work outside office hours when required.
  • Solution-focused and great at problem-solving.
  • Able to work independently and within a team assisting team members to help everyone achieve results.
  • A flexible rotating roster that may include late nights, weekends, and early mornings and flexible with
  • uncertainties/changing priorities and under pressure.
  • Willing to travel on business when required.  
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and Discova’s systems would be an advantage.
