Inside Sales Team Leader (Corporate Traveller / Flight Centre Business Travel)

Reporting into and working closely with the NISL (National Inside Sales Leader), the role of the Team Leader is primarily focused on coaching and driving the BDRs to achieve individual and team results while adhering to team processes and aligning to team strategies. Leading from the front, you will consistently deliver to your own BDR KPI’s. Success is built on key role expectations and requires high level of self-motivation and commitment to team goals.

Role Expectations:

Team Development and BDR delivery:

  • Assist with recruitment of new team members
  • Ensure alignment to the Inside Sales strategies and Business goals
  • Ensure your personal KPIs are achieved every month including activity targets and number of seen meetings (note, these are based in an outbound B2B phone selling environment)
  • Monitor and drive performance against agreed team and individual metrics and strategies. As part of this you will be able to analyse data and implement appropriate actions
  • Coach and provide feedback to the BDR’s, with monthly documented 1-1’s, to ensure behaviours and results align to key deliverables
  • Develop a positive and supportive team culture and ensure team alignment to the National Inside Sales team and SME goals
  • Collaborate with and communicate information in a timely and effective manner to the National Inside Sales Leader

Education and qualification:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Minimum 1 year in B2B sales
  • Experience managing a pipeline
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM
  • Minimum 1 year in leadership is desirable
  • Track record in meeting and achieving targets
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
