Grant, our Head of Engineering and Architecture is looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to join his large and growing engineering team. You will help transform how we deliver software , manage our infrastructure and report on our operations. You will be focused on leading the design and development of our CI/CD pipelines and supporting infrastructure / services in both an On Premise and Azure cloud based platform and supporting our engineering teams as we continue to deliver and execute our business strategy.
About the role
As a Lead DevOps engineer at Flight Centre Travel Group - Corporate Technology, you will be responsible for the design, construction, maintenance and automation of critical infrastructure, development tools; engineering test environments and release pipelines.
As part of a larger engineering team, you will help establish our DevOps practice and you will work closely with local engineering teams and stakeholders to deliver durable infrastructure solutions of a high quality.

Establish and group a team of high performing DevOps engineers
Design and build infrastructure solutions to support the execution of our Business Strategy
Provide technical assistance to engineering teams to assist in the adoption and implementation DevOps practices including adoption of continuous integration (CI) / continuous delivery (CD)
Focus on Automation; Reduce repetitive tasks related to build and deployment of software
Establish governance and documentation
Using your expert knowledge help guide our team, and kept us ahead of emerging technologies and change
Work closely with the broad Corporate Technology Engineering Team and our offshore cloud partners

Developing Infrastructure as Code (Iac)
Recommend and implement required tooling / technology platforms
Microsoft DevOps
Java Applications
Experience with sophisticated CI/CD pipelines
Microsoft Azure experience in a must (App Services, Functions, Application Gateway, Front Door, etc.)
IAM
Scripting - Bash, Python, etc.
Advanced understanding of networking within Azure
Security experience will be highly regarded
