National Sales Director position on offer: Location- Sydney, Melbourne or South Brisbane
The National Sales Director will lead the FCTG Independent Sales Team and be responsible for development and results through a disciplined and accountable approach. Additionally, the role will be responsible for identifying and developing partnership and potential acquisition opportunities that ultimately drive the growth of this fast-paced growth business.
This role's primary goals will be to drive the growth of agents and agencies within the Australian network, increase market share, TTV & profitability for FCTG’s Independent Division.
The National Sales Director will be a key member of the Australian Independent Leadership team and will contribute to formation and delivery of the greater Australian Independent business strategies.
Key Duties
Project Management & Business Planning
Run regular training workshops and up-skilling sessions
Work with GM on the competitive market strategy for FCTG Independent
Manage and drive the Australian business growth strategy for FCTG Independent business
Conduct weekly internal meetings and attend ongoing meetings with BDM and Leadership Teams
Work closely with support, marketing, account management, finance, and product discipline leaders
Lead and develop the national BDM team including hiring, training, motivating, and providing ongoing professional development opportunities for these team members
Managing day to day performance of the BDM team including tracking and maintaining accountability to weekly and monthly KPI targets and other business plan objectives
Be the face of FCTG Independent in Australia, via regular attendance at industry events & other networking opportunities to source leads, partnership and acquisition opportunities
Source opportunities for partnership and acquisition for further discussion with the leadership team
Provide competitor intel and updates monthly to senior management and work on ongoing competitor related projects, strategy & education of the BDM Team on competitor strengths & weaknesses to improve conversion
Joint appointments with BDM Team
Run all business planning and strategy meetings for the BDM Team including Planning Days and Quarterly Attainment Plans with all BDMs
Experience
Minimum 5 years in Sales Leadership role, leading B2B sales team
Consistent and proven high performance for both self and team
Minimum Requirement - Extensive knowledge of the travel industry, product and FCTG retail & corporate businesses Added Advantage - Degree qualified
