Umapped, a startup company that was acquired by Flight Centre Travel Group in 2018 is looking for a skilled and motivated Product Manager to join our data-driven minded team. Our office is located in the trendy area of Queen West; steps away from the AGO, local shops and restaurants that make up Toronto’s creative heart. Located in a brick and beam heritage building our office boasts an open modern concept that tells a story of world travel.
Umapped’s parent company, Flight Centre Travel Group is based in Brisbane, Australia and is one of the world’s largest travel agency groups with company owned operations in 23 countries and a corporate travel management network that spans more than 90 countries.
Responsibilities:
Drive product vision, strategy & innovation
Influence and prioritize product opportunities with a wide range of internal and external partners.
Define key product requirements throughout the customer journey and influence internal teams towards high-value products.
Lead product critical metrics – Establish and measure product important metrics by closely partnering with the brands data analytics team, launch, and follow ups.
Continue to build a data-driven, test and learn approach in an agile environment to ensure successful product development
Communicate with key team members and stakeholders.
Constantly Identify and communicate the value and strategic vision of Umapped products.
Requirements:
Has 3-5+ years experience in Product Management
Thrives in a fast-paced environment
Has exceptional presentation, communication, and collaboration skills
Has a good understanding of software development and software concepts such as microservices, platforms, web applications, cloud architecture, security, APIs, and data management. Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle
Has experience in the travel industry working with airlines, OTAs
Relevant experience with SAAS software is a major asset
