The role of the Product Owner is to manage the assigned product delivery team within the assigned portfolio for the Australia and New Zealand region across all corporate brands. The purpose of the Product Owner is to ensure the smooth delivery and deployment of product features and enhancements that are high quality and meet the customer's needs.
We are looking for an experienced Product Owner to join our dynamic and fast-paced environment and work collaboratively with the Regional Product Manager to help own and manage our global products at a regional level and implement strategies to deliver and manage initiatives that align with the product and company's vision and strategy.
The Product Owner lives and breathes the product and is responsible for working closely with the regional and global digital product and engineering teams to maximise the value and delivery of multiple initiatives. The products will include global configuration tools, FCM Platform, Hub, mobile applications, and safety and risk tools for the regional market
Key Responsibilities...
Be an expert in your domain, live and breathe the product, advocating the customer's voice and needs
Responsible for the deployment, market readiness and suitability of global products into the regional market
Actively participate in the product discovery and design activities which help shape delivery
Create and maintain a delivery roadmap for global products at a regional level, that aligns with and supports the strategic roadmap
Contributes to the broader strategic vision and roadmap
Manages the product backlog, including prioritisation and defect management
Gather and document business and technical requirements
Constructs and prioritises delivery processes to ensure that the development team knows what to work on next
Work collaboratively with the product manager and product team to identify a minimum viable product or solutions that meet customer needs
Key role in agile software development, including estimations, scrum team leadership and planning, user story acceptance and release activities
Communicates the customer or business needs to the engineering team
Support the implementation and deployment of initiatives with cross-functional teams
Ensure a quality product by working closely with team members throughout delivery
Experience and Qualifications...
Product Management or Ownership Experience – desirable
Demonstrated experience in deployment and optimisation of technology products - essential
A solid understanding of the corporate travel market & available products - essential
Ability to communicate with business stakeholders and/or customers the product's features & benefits - essential
Operational Understanding of the Business - desirable
