QA Analyst

As the Melon QC Analyst for the Americas, you will be a key member of the Melon Product Team.  Through rigorous quality control you will be a partner in the continual and deployment of our new proprietary platform to ensure CT’s customers are getting the best possible online experience. Your main responsibilities will be testing sprint and feature deployments, investigating stakeholder feedback, analyzing testing results, creating Jira tickets and building test plans.  You will work with the Americas Melon Product Owner, key CT stakeholders, other regional Melon QC Analysts and the Product and Engineering teams at WhereTo.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Melon product and integrations with other CT apps
  • Perform product and integration testing for monthly Melon sprint deployments based on the content of each sprint to ensure details can be fully communicated to the business
  • Perform product and integration testing for significant feature deployments when needed
  • Investigate bugs and feedback reported by stakeholders to establish validity, root causes and commonalities between issues
  • Analyze and collate testing results so they can be concisely reviewed
  • Create and monitor tickets in Jira, providing all relevant info to the WhereTo engineers to ensure efficient resolutions
  • Build standard and ad-hoc test cases to perform product testing
  • Work under the guidance of the Americas Melon Product Owner to establish testing needs, plan workstack and deliver feedback
  • Collaborate as needed with the WhereTo Product Support Specialists on test results and feedback sharing
  • Communicate with key Melon stakeholders in the CT business about their feedback
  • In the future liaise with the QC Analysts in other regions to compare testing results

Requirements

  • Required previous QA experience testing apps and processes following test plans
  • Experience with using and testing travel industry apps is preferred
  • Ability to troubleshoot, problem solve, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
  • Data driven mindset with attention to detail is a must
  • High energy, go-getter with fresh ideas who takes the initiative to get things done
