With the market recovering and the need of insights to inform key business decisions, you will be responsible for reviewing and analysing data and trends, monitoring market competition. 

About the Opportunity   

As revenue manager -  ECommerce, you will be responsible for maximizing leisure gross profits. Using modern revenue management techniques, you will be reviewing and analysing data and trends, monitoring market competition, developing and expand on pricing tools, and evaluating ad-hoc reports.  Assess sales, margins, and making recommendations for offers across the Flight Centre Travel Groups brands, you will present data and interact with other teams, making suggestions for improvements.   

What you will be doing 

Revenue Management and technology 

  • Understand and apply the principles of revenue management to optimise the revenue of the company  

  • Monitor external market, along with our own data, and setting up customer prices that maximise our profits. 

  • Develop and improve standard revenue report templates, presentations, and methodologies, lead development of innovative methods and tools for reviewing, analysing, forecasting and presenting on revenue achievements 

  • Create and amend procedures as necessary to ensure stakeholders engagement and continuous improvement 

Buying competitiveness and rate distribution 

  • Bring an overall understanding of hotel rates distribution, GDS functionalities and major chains distribution systems and strategies. 

  • Assist the global procurement teams in establishing our buying competitiveness and highlight discrepancies in rates, deals and products.  

  • Report on product competitiveness cases, and manage communication with account owner in the procurement teams 

Be part of an overall engagement with global marketing teams, help develop an RM approach for promotions around packages 

Who we are looking for 

You’d be a strong candidate if you have worked in a similar role that has given you 2-year experience in revenue or Yield Management experience within airline, OTA or travel wholesaler, car rental or the hotel industry. With advance excel knowledge and intermediate level of Power BI you will be joining a team that take ownership for their successes and failures. 

Bonus points if you have knowledge of travel wholesaler product packaging.
