The Travel Academy is Flight Centre's externally facing education business that offers a university level Diploma in Travel and Tourism. Enrolment Consultants are first point of contact for students wishing to study travel and tourism with FC Travel Academy (FCTA). They are the drivers of the revenue into the FC Travel Academy business. The expectation is that they control the sales conversation and process with interested candidates. This includes the outcomes from sales conversations being a qualified student leading to an enrolment, a follow up or a known reason for not applying.
What you will be doing:
Course Enrolments
Follow standardised sales process and systems for responding to course enquiries using sales skills in order to convert course enrolments
Inform candidates about unique course highlights including value propositions of studying with Australia’s largest travel brand, program options available to students, access to industry trainers and ongoing recruitment support to students
Follow enrolment processes to determine student suitability to entry requirements
Complete enrolment administration ensuring students are set up correctly for their course
Facilitation of Travel Academy information sessions
Facilitate the administrative tasks required of the University’s admission procedures
Student Engagement
Support facilitators using structured communication with students around assessment progression and completion
Ensure quality student experience and handover to facilitators and internal recruitment team
Business Focus
Awareness of budgets and key business drivers
Understanding and belief in the business plan
Relationship building with all internal Flight Centre Travel Group staff to promote FCTA brand
You will need:
Minimum 2 years of proven sales success
Understanding of Vocational Education and Training (VET) and/or Higher Education/University sector
Presentation experience
Travel and tourism industry experience would be well regarded
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Customer focus
Attention to detail with ability to multi-task
