As the Security Analyst at Flight Centre Travel Group you’ll play an important role as part of a high performing team to ensure that our digital assets are protected from unauthorised access or malicious action.

The Security Analyst is responsible for ensuring that the business operations are being carried out in accordance with FCTG security policy. Functionally you are responsible for the day-to-day confidentiality, integrity and availability of FCTG information assets in region. You’ll also be responsible for conducting security assessments, analysing and resolving security incidents, threats, and trends, as well as provide visibility, reports and assurance to stakeholders.

The role has a strong focus on relationship management within Enterprise Technology Services and with business stakeholders globally. If you enjoy a focus on improving security posture through innovation, projects, training, and engagement of the business, we’d love to hear from you. 

What you’ll do…

• Apply security controls, using operational processes and procedures
• Align businesses with PCI-DSS, Data Privacy, ISM and ISO27001
• Work alongside and support Security leader on Projects, Privacy, Policies and other security matters as part of a high performing team
• Use systems that make up the Security Ecosystem such as Service Now,  SOC, SIEM, SOAR and other security technologies,to resolve, maintain, report and escalate incidents and issues as required
• Apply and maintain specific security controls as required by organisational policy and local risk assessments
• Investigate security breaches in accordance with established procedures
• Assist users in guidance of security matters

Who are you…

• You have a minimum 5 years demonstrated experience in Cyber Security, with a good working knowledge of tools like FireEye, Helix and Tenable
• You can identify opportunities for continuous improvement
• You enjoy providing support and guidance to staff
• You have a curiosity and passion about problem solving in an IT setting
• You’ll have demonstrated knowledge of security practices:
  • Ethical Hacking (Pentesting), Intrusion Prevention, Incident Response, Forensics, MITRE Framework and Vulnerability management

You’ll earn brownie points if you have…

• Experience with Flight Centre Product business systems, Corporate Applications and processes
• A passion to develop in the security field, including a willingness to learn & grow skills
• A high degree of flexibility and ability to deal with change, growth and pressure
• IT Degree or similar highly desirable
