The Role...

• You should be an expert Java Engineer with at least 6 years’ experience and be a passionate executor
• Have expert technical expertise, with experience working on a wide range of projects
• Be proficient with design patterns to create resilient and fault-tolerant systems
• Have proven experience using test automation using tools such as Cucumber
• Know how work with large-scale data stores, and cloud-based systems
• Work effectively on your own, within your team and with remote teams
• Oversee complex systems analysis, design and development programs
• Takes technical responsibility for all stages and/or iterations in a software development project, providing method specific technical advice and guidance to project stakeholders
• Mentoring and Coaching of Junior Developers

The Technology...

In our Corporate Travel technology teams, we use Java and .NET in both an on-prem and Microsoft azure cloud-based solution. The Finance Operations team, which this role is aligned to, is prominently a Java based team.
