We’re looking for a Solution Architect with a bias for quality and a natural flair for building meaningful relationships with our internal customers, vendors, and technology & product teams.
In this role you will be part of our Enterprise Application Management team. This team is responsible for the implementation, upgrading and integration of our Finance and HR systems, which are a blend of commercial off the shelf and internally developed applications.

Our Enterprise Technology Services is a group of approximately 150 people across 8 countries who deliver the technical foundations that enable Flight Centre Travel Group to transform and grow. The role in a nutshell:
Communicate and consult with clients and internal stakeholders to develop appropriate solutions
Evaluate solution options, recommend preferred solutions, and present findings to stakeholders
Design architectural solutions that meet our complex business needs and are aligned to strategy, architectural and product roadmaps
Produce and maintain the solution’s architecture and design documents
Provide support and hands on effort during the implementation of the solution
Review and recommend changes to existing solutions as required
Make architectural decisions and set the standards and best practices for the software engineering discipline
Software designs of major software components, systems, and features including analysis, research, design, and documentation that fulfil business requirements
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
3+ years’ experience as a solution and software architect
Extensive background in end-to-end solution architecture preferably with experience in Finance and HR applications
Strong knowledge in software engineering with experience working with cross-functional teams in designing and delivering end-to-end solution architecture
Involvement in system integration solution design and delivery
Experience with data architecture, data platforms, tools, and data design concepts
Strong knowledge of architecture patterns
Strong collaboration and communication skills in a multi-disciplined team environment
