Flight Centre Travel Group Americas is a dynamic, highly profitable division within the group with significant sales growth year over year. We are seeking a Leisure Risk Finance Assistant Team Leader to support our Americas Retail and Wholesale businesses. We are looking for a motivated individual, with strong attention to detail, as well as someone who challenges status quo and works to run, grown and transform day to day financial responsibilities.

The role is responsible for the day-to-day Risk monitoring and reporting, General business support, Fraud mitigation, Transactional research and corrections, Training, and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Uphold a culture of strong financial compliance & control
  • Strong understanding of transactional finance and how to make corrections where needed
  • Complete daily, monthly mid-office reconciliation reviews
  • Maintain reporting and project deadlines across all businesses
  • Perform month end checks, reviews, and reporting
  • Strong attention to detail
  • High level involvement in System development, implementation, and training
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to identify a problem and execute a solution

Requirements:

  • Working closely with Leisure Finance Teams to support the Americas Retail and Wholesale Businesses
  • High level of commercial acumen, communication skills and professionalism
  • Ability to work with and lead a team  
  • 5 years’ + General Accounting or Risk Finance Experience  
  • Experience working in a multinational company desirable
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel Skills
