About the Opportunity Discova is looking for a Contracting Manager who lives and breathes tactical offers. You will own the portfolio of negotiation and execution of tactical offers and campaigns for the region. As part of the contracting team they have excellent knowledge of contracted suppliers in our portfolio and work with the sales and commercial team to match client opportunities with the right suppliers. Understanding the product requirements and potential opportunity of select clients, they will leverage their strong negotiation skills, supplier relationships and destination knowledge to secure the best offers in market. This position requires a self-starter who has an attention for detail, proven commercial acumen, the ability to deliver on deadlines and communicate directly with clients where required to expedite turnaround and improve speed to market.
Key Responsibilities:
Negotiate tactical and exclusive offers with contracted suppliers in the region.
Develop and maintain healthy and profitable supplier relationships.
Create well prepared pitch documents to clearly present opportunities and maximize supplier interest and participation.
Match client opportunities with the right partners that meet and exceed client expectations
Drive best practice contract negotiations to increase total contract margin, availability of product and speed to market
Work with Contracting Managers to identify supplier opportunities and match with clients needs
Live and breathe Responsible travel policies and encourage others to do the same.
Consistently upskill and keep updated with all Discova Products and Services.
About you: The Essentials:
A Bachelor Degree in Tourism, Sales & Marketing or 2+ years’ experience in product Management
Fulent of both written and spoken English and local language.
Minimum 2 years Tourism negotiation experience
Comprehensive travel industry and destination knowledge

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to be flexible and implementing change when needed.
Excellent communicator to a diverse range of people (customers, suppliers, team members, leaders).
Well-developed and problem-solving skill.

Strong interpersonal and presentation skills across culture.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
Flexible rotating roster that may include late nights, weekends and early mornings and flexible with uncertainties/changing priorities and under pressure.
