Technical Business Analyst

We are looking for a technical business analyst to discover and resolve the operational complexities inherent to building an online booking tool. When we receive new feature requests, this person will teach our team what needs to be considered from an industry or partnership perspective to bring it to life.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess operational impact of new features in our OBT
  • Uncover internal system/application development dependencies (FCM Platform, CGAP, backoffice, etc)
  • Identify third party development dependencies (TPConnects, HotelHub, GDS, Amtrak, Trainline, etc) and track their delivery against WhereTo development
  • Find subject matter experts in Flight Centre to support writing of requirements for internal or 3rd parties and to inform operational impacts
  • Create, manage, and communicate cross-functional development timelines to predict dependencies and minimize potential blockers

Requirements:

  • 5 years of Flight Centre Travel Group experience, ideally in a technology support or operations role.
  • Ability to convert technical and complex functionality into plain English documentation
  • A highly organized self-starter able to build process
  • Depth of knowledge of Flight Centre systems and operational workflows is necessary for success in this role
  • Effective Communicator with an aptitude for facilitating cross-functional collaboration
  • Bachelor degree

Benefits Include:

  • Generous remuneration structure
  • Travel perks/discounts.
  • Health & Wellness Programs and Employee Financial Wellness Services
  • Generous paid-time off policy
  • National/International Award Nights and Conferences
  • Diversity & Inclusion initiatives
  • Benefits including vision, medical, and dental
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • RRSP with matching
  • Employee Share Plan
  • Global career opportunities in a network of brands and businesses
  • Ongoing training and professional development
  • Fun and flexible work environment
  • Proud Corporate Social Responsibility platform through the Flight Centre Foundation and Brighter Futures program supporting nominated charities through Workplace Giving, Volunteering and Fundraising.
    • Employee giving program
    • Annual Charity Trip
    • Office Environmental Program
    • 1 Volunteer Day per Calendar Year
