Travel Adviser

A Travel Associates Adviser curates bespoke itineraries tailored to their clients’ needs & expectations while utilizing industry connections and insight to deliver a premium travel experience. 

You understand the complexity of travel and take full ownership of your client portfolio. You live and breathe our brand DNA and Purple Ribbon Experience. 

You nurture and build your personal client portfolio and seek to increase loyalty and booking value through the delivery of luxury travel experiences. You seek to add value to every experience and focus on uplifting the brand and the portfolio.

You support our goal to lead the premium travel industry by virtue of our unrivalled experience, connections and service delivery.

Travel Associates Adviser profile


    • Ability to design & curate personalized travel experiences

    • Monthly attendance at industry events & training sessions to build your knowledge & profile

    • Commitment & support of the Premium Product Strategy 

    • Seeks to develop product knowledge & personal experience


    • Full time CAC of $12,000

    • Repeat client portfolio of 60%

    • Good understanding & consistent delivery of Purple Ribbon Experience

    • Nurture referral business for portfolio growth


    • Nurture authentic Top 50 Client Relationships

    • Develop long standing industry connections & relationships

    • Seeks growth discerning & luxury traveller portfolio via referral

    • Understand the importance of client engagement & exceptional service delivery

    • Seeks to over-deliver on client expectations


    • Actively attend & host events, network & engage with local community and businesses 

    • Understands & articulates the TA offering and Brand CVP's 

    • Maintain a strong personal brand and profile, to win new clients

    • Successful portfolio management 

    • Actively contribute to the business with innovative ideas, a positive mindset & creative thinking


    Adviser reports into Leadership team

    Key communication and relationships:

    Internal: Stakeholders, Teams  & Brand / Business Support teams

    External: Suppliers & Clients & Local Community 

    Job Requirements

    Education and qualification:

    Minimum requirements

    Added advantage

    Extensive Consulting Experience

    Your own Customer Database

    Strong Networking skills

    Sound knowledge of all FCTG internal Booking systems

    Desire to work autonomously

    Cert III in Travel

    Cert IV in Travel & Tourism

    Diploma of Leadership & Management (Desirable)

    CLIA certification

    Virtuoso Travel Academy & Professional Development


    (Minimum level of experience required for the role)

    • At least 3 years current experience in a retail travel role, with a repeat and referral client base.

    • Exceptional customer service skills.

    • A successful track record in building a profitable portfolio and exceeding client expectations.

    Level of Accountability

    (eg: Operational budget expectations, Level of Skill, Customer size / net worth, Size of team, etc) - Role dependant
