About the Opportunity

Global Land Supply is Flight Centre Travel Group’s global in-house product procurement and consolidation business, servicing a number of Flight Centre’s worldwide selling businesses.

In conjunction with the Workflow Manager, the Associate monitors and co-ordinates the daily activities of the workflow and queues of the Distribution area, setting the priorities of contracts, updates, specials, and projects for destination. 

You will collaborate daily with other teams, in particular, the procurement and outsourcing teams, using defined processes and independent judgement to properly diffuse escalated or more complex issues in the most expedient manner possible. 

You will maintain strong relationships with our supplier partners to increase speed to market, ensuring that content is entered in an accurate, consistent and timely manner, thus maximising total turnover volume and allowing for ease of sale to the selling partners.

This role may be based in either Brisbane or Sydney.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage workflow of incoming contracts, specials and promotions to increase speed to market and support the strategy of the team
  • Liaise with procurement, suppliers and other teams to ensure management of any escalations in a timely manner
  • Ensure issues and recommendations with regard to programs, tools, projects, and processes are properly being followed
  • Champions recommendations to Workflow Manager for change/improvements
  • Promotes achievement of common goals

 

You Will Need:

  • TravelBox, Hotelhub, Travolutionary back office systems experience
  • Microsoft Office Suite – Excel experience is essential
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in the travel industry and/or wholesale travel product business
  • High attention to detail and ability to resolve issues
  • Setting, managing and meeting work timelines
  • Establishing and managing people and resources required to achieve goals
