About the Opportunity

As an Experienced Ticketer, you will be the operational expert behind accurate, efficient, and optimised travel content distribution across our Global Supply team.

You will use your deep travel industry knowledge to resolve complex escalations, improve operational processes, and support stakeholders across multiple business functions.

Working closely with internal teams, suppliers, and technology partners, you will help drive revenue optimisation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement through automation, AI, and data-driven solutions.

Based in the Brisbane head office, this is a fantastic opportunity to influence business outcomes while contributing to innovative travel operations initiatives.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Manage complex operational support escalations, ensuring issues are understood, documented, and resolved effectively.
  • Utilise AI and data tools to validate operational data, identify anomalies, and maintain accuracy and compliance
  • Investigate and resolve data discrepancies while collaborating with stakeholders on corrective actions
  • Support the development and upskilling of consultant support and offshore teams
  • Produce operational audit reporting and insights using data and AI-enabled tools
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve distribution efficiency, and increase revenue outcomes
  • Collaborate with Corporate Account Managers, Customer Implementation teams, and other business stakeholders
  • Coordinate testing, communications, and deployment activities for operational solutions
  • Assist in process design, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Manage and support automation tools including robotic process automation and chatbots
  • Maintain expert knowledge of travel operations, content distribution, and fulfilment processes
  • Develop and maintain knowledge management resources and documentation
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers, offshore partners, technology providers, and internal stakeholders
  • Participate in or lead operational projects and business improvement initiatives

 

What you will need:

  • Minimum 3+ years travel industry experience
  • Experience in content loading, distribution, fulfilment, or air content
  • Working knowledge of at least one Global Distribution System (GDS), including content loading and revenue optimisation tools
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
  • Experience in business improvement, process design, or project management is advantageous
  • Multi-GDS knowledge is desirable
  • Corporate travel management and corporate content distribution experience is desirable
  • Exposure to automation, robotic process automation, or AI applications is advantageous
  • Industry certifications in GDS, content distribution, fulfilment, or travel operations are desirable
