Technical Product Manager (Finance platforms) - South Bank, QLD
- Queensland, QLD, Australia
- Full time
- Hybrid

At Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG) our purpose is to 'open up the world for those who want to see'. Every day, we give people all around the world the opportunity to experience something amazing – travel!
Are you passionate about shaping technical platforms that deliver exceptional customer and business outcomes?
Envoyage has grown and it now supports around 3,500 members across five markets. The shift behind it is clear: 68% of new travel agents now start out as independents, drawn by technology that makes going solo easier. Join the Envoyage Product Management and Engineering team and help scale the finance platforms behind that growth. As volume, currencies and regions multiply, our platforms have to scale. In this role you’ll steward the finance platforms that make that growth possible.
- Manage the product lifecycle of our finance platforms (Business Central, Tramada and WEX) as the subject matter expert on what each can and can’t do
- Track the vendor roadmaps, including BC release waves and Tramada and WEX updates, and assess what’s coming and how it affects us
- Understand how BC features and functions can be used to meet business needs, and recommend where we adopt, configure or work around them
- Own how billing events flow from booking systems into BC via integration to create sales orders, invoices, credit memos and journals, and how that logic evolves as markets and volumes grow
- Manage vendor relationships with NCS, Microsoft, Tramada and WEX, covering product health, support and service requests, and escalation. Some requests are pure support, others involve integration changes
- Scope and prioritise integration work with each vendor, partnering with delivery teams to implement it
- Define, track and report platform health measures and OKRs to key stakeholders
- Gather stakeholder feedback into platform priorities, and train stakeholders to get more value from the platforms
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive and accessible work environment where all Flighties feel welcomed, respected and supported to thrive
- Access and identity: Run the BC user lifecycle (provisioning, offboarding, roles, licences, privileged access) and the Entra ID sync
- Releases and environments: Manage monthly updates and Wave releases across prod, UAT and sandbox, including PTE recompilation and API deprecation checks
- Integration health: Monitor journal posting from the integration layer into BC, resolve failures, and maintain Job Queues
- Oversee finance support requests, audit queries, and compliance-driven BC changes
- Maintain the BC Administration Runbook, review audit logs regularly, and escalate risks to the Head of Engineering
- 4+ years in a technical product management role, and a Bachelor’s degree or demonstrated equivalent experience
- Understanding of finance processes (AR/AP, journals, reconciliations) and ERP release management
- Experience managing SaaS vendors and their support and service models
- Experience monitoring APIs and integrations, ideally across multi-region, multi-currency environments
- Demonstrated understanding of Agile principles and processes
- Experience defining and measuring OKRs, KPIs and business outcomes
- Proven problem-solving, prioritisation and change management skills
- Hands-on experience with Business Central SaaS administration (Admin Center, permission sets)
