This role will be fully accountable for managing the partnership for one of Flight Centre Travel Group’s global theme park partners, Disney, and its associated brands.
As part of the Supply division, you will be responsible for covering all facets of account management, including contracting, commercial, strategy, connectivity/distribution, customer service, marketing, agent training and day to day management.
Candidates must be based in either Brisbane or Sydney, or willing to relocate.
What you will be doing:
Managing annual contracts and year round contractual amendments/pricing and product updates across all products in the portfolio
Responsible for all commercial/financial aspects of the partnerships managed, i.e. liaising with accounts payable and receivable to ensure payments and invoicing are managed efficiently and all financial aspect of the partnership are up to date
Build and implement an annual co-operative marketing and sponsorship strategy, liaising with Flight Centre’s marketing and selling brand product leaders in order to maximise sponsorship and partnership opportunities
Support tactical promotions and negotiate exclusive tactical deals for Flight Centre global and regional campaigns
Identify and implement initiatives that will streamline operational and contracting efficiencies, reducing errors and glitches
Initiate and co-ordinate an agent training plan, including sales incentives and familiarisation trips across theme parks, hotels and cruise with the goal to increase Agent product knowledge and awareness and build confidence in selling Disney products so Flight Centre can drive sales and grow business to Disney
Through training, education and streamlining processes, make Disney easy for our Agents to sell
Ensure all content is connected, mapped and bookable for all products and to all selling brands in HELiO booking system (for both directly connected and manually loaded products)
Oversee new connection implementations and manual load updates
Build and analyse data and financial reports to identify production trends, opportunities and competitiveness
Work with revenue management to optimise margins and profitability
Provide support for escalations of accounts payable and agent booking related queries
Act as the liaison between internal and external supplier stakeholders, communicating all updates regularly and efficiently
Monthly supplier performance reviews
Organise and lead regular meetings, workshops, projects with key stakeholders – internally & externally
Build profile within the Flight Centre business and be known as the central point of contact globally for the supplier portfolio
Hours: Normal Monday to Friday office hours - due to the global nature of our business, flexibility to work outside of standard hours may be required occasionally to accommodate meetings across different time zones
What you will need:
Minimum 3 years in a contract maintenance and account management role
Previous experience in the Travel and Tourism industry
Proficient in MS Office suite
Ability to maintain and enhance key stakeholder relationships
Degree/relevant qualifications
Ability to travel both domestically and internationally when required
First hand experience with Disney products an advantage - please outline in your application
