Global Retail Commerce is a centralised support business with the focus of driving business improvement initiatives across the global Flight Centre Brand network.
The purpose of this role is to work with key stakeholders across the Flight Centre Brand network to assist with various projects within the Global Retail Commerce space. This is done by investigating operational issues, problems and new opportunities. Finding effective business solutions through improvements in aspects of business operations and business systems.
Candidates must be Brisbane-based or willing to relocate.
What you will be doing:
In this role it is required to interact with various teams and stakeholders within the company to analyse, understand, document, and assess complex business requirements to then design, develop and advise solutions in the following key areas.
1. Business Process Improvement:
Consult with business managers, project managers, and various stakeholders to identify and analyse pain points and opportunities
Interpret complex requirements and provide objective assessments with actionable ideas to refine business processes
Design plans to enhance efficiency, streamline operations, and reduce costs
Employ best practice in process development and deployment (e.g. A/B testing, UAT protocols)
2. Requirements Definitions:
Defines and manages scoping, requirements definition and prioritisation activities
Contributes to selecting the requirements approach
Facilitates input from stakeholders, provides constructive challenge and enables effective prioritisation of requirements
Establishes requirements base-lines, obtains formal agreement to requirements, and ensures traceability to source
3. Feasibility Assessment:
Selects relevant feasibility assessment approaches and techniques
Identifies the range of possible options. Undertakes short-listing of options and feasibility assessment
Engages with internal and external stakeholders to get the information required for feasibility assessment
Supports preparation of business cases including cost/benefit, impact and risk analysis for each option
4. Internal and External Stakeholder Communication:
Continuously improve internal and external stakeholder communication practices
Align business stream communication channels to enhance collaboration and efficiency
Work with stakeholders to achieve adoption targets
5. Reporting and Analytics:
Utilise CRM and BI software, such as Salesforce, Power BI, and C1, to design and develop reporting and analytics solutions for sales and productivity
Advise on data collection, integration, and analysis from multiple sources to meet business requirements
The Essentials:
Minimum 2+ years BA experience
At least 3 years professional experience in a related field
Bachelor's degree/Diploma in business or related field of study
Added advantage:
Project experience in Automation projects (either supporting or directly implementing automation processes)
Travel industry domain experience
Hours: Normal Monday to Friday office hours - due to the global nature of our business, flexibility to work outside of standard hours may be required occasionally to accommodate meetings across different time zones
