As the Data & Insights Lead, you will oversee the creation and optimisation of a world-class data asset. You will drive a data-first culture, providing in-depth and actionable insights to optimise strategies and drive value for the program. Utilising data analytics, you will segment members and tailor offerings, enhancing relevance and engagement through personalised experiences. Additionally, the role will create transparency into program performance and champion impact with key stakeholders. Staying abreast of trends and changes in the landscape related to customer data will be crucial. You will also lead a team of analysts and data scientists.
In this role, you will support the Head of Program Performance with key objectives, including program measurement, member acquisition, program engagement, incremental sales in brand, and partner-driven revenue growth.
Future phases of this role may expand to other countries and divisions within the group, such as New Zealand and Corporate.
Primary Accountabilities & Objectives:
Revolutionise Performance Reporting
Craft a robust framework and compelling reporting assets, providing deep insights across the program and impacts on brands Report on specific metrics & KPIs such as member lifetime value, earn and redemption rates
Foster collaboration with the team, senior leadership teams within brands, and the Global Leisure data team, ensuring seamless alignment of goals
Elevate Program Prioritisation
Drive adoption of outputs by the team, ensuring the success of prioritised initiatives
Collaborate on both macro and micro-level program plans, offering upfront value estimation and post-execution analysis
Shape Analytics and Data Enablement
Use advanced and predictive analytics to continually optimise program performance
Champion priorities and requirements for advanced analytics, steering the Data Enablement function towards success
Ensure a synchronised roadmap and flawless execution of data-driven use-cases, amplifying the program's impact
Cultivate a Data-Driven Mindset
Champion data-driven initiatives within the brand and wider data teams
Partner with key stakeholders to instill a performance-led, optimisation cultural shift
Collaborate with the technology team and play a leading role in how data is used for automation
Assist customer groups in embracing outcome-focused thinking, driving adoption of frameworks and tools
Expert Delivery Management
Lead a dynamic cross-functional squad, executing key analytics, reporting, and BI initiatives
Strive for on-time, high-quality results, achieving milestones on the established roadmap
Prioritise impactful deliveries, maintaining transparency of priorities and timelines
Leadership
Build and develop a motivated data team, ensuring the right resources are in place across data science and analytics
Collaborate cross-functionally across the Global Leisure data team to plan and deliver high-quality data solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment
Participate in agile sessions, workshops, planning, retros, communities of practice, and other team sessions as relevant to the role
Experience:
Tertiary level qualification
Experience in program development
Familiarity with agile working methodology
Proficiency in descriptive analytics, SQL, reporting, and PowerBI
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills
5+ years' experience in analytics delivery, preferably in retail or customer-facing domains
Demonstrated track record with objective measures in using data capabilities to deliver value and insights

Salary range on offer: $120,000 - $150,000k plus super (based on experience)
