About the Opportunity

FCM Platinum team – is unique as it is the team that services the Flight Centre Travel Group (Australia) for all travel requirements, including the management of air for our (FCTG) conference & events including Global Gathering, working closely with FCM M&E and other areas of our business.

A Team Leader is the customer, operational and technical expert. They lead with a customer-centric mindset and display sound commercial and business sense to drive customer and people-related outcomes and business goals.

The Team Leader lives and breathes the FCM “DNA” and maintains a culture of support, safety and success. They are instrumental in the development and performance of their people and the growth, profitability and retention of their customers.

Their leadership capabilities build and nurture relationships both internally and externally for the betterment of the FCM brand.

 

You will be responsible for:

  • Understanding and driving team and area business plans, key performance indicators and key business deliverables
  • Coach, develop and motivate team members in a supportive environment
  • Maintaining the financial health of the business
  • Developing multi-level relationships our FCTG Travelers including our senior leaders and Global Travel Director.
  • Identifying gaps and opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Assessing, troubleshooting and providing solutions to a varying range of customer scenarios
  • Ensuring all functions deliver a compelling customer experience to maximise the opportunity for retention and customer satisfaction
  • Delivering FCM’s marketing and product strategies and ensuring they are best optimised within the area

 

You will have:

  • Extensive travel industry experience
  • Previous leadership experience in a customer facing role
  • Drive and ambition to achieve and exceed goals
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Superior presentation and negotiation skills
  • The ability to manage change
  • A high degree of emotional intelligence
  • Sound business acumen
  • A proven track record in customer connections and an ability to deal with a diverse range of clients 

 

What’s in it for you:

$80,000pa base plus uncapped incentives; overall OTE $110,00pa + super
