About the role. Mō te Tūranga

• Lead proactive and reactive media relations across all Flight Centre Travel Group NZ brands, securing impactful coverage and managing media enquiries.
• Craft compelling external communications, including media releases and thought leadership content that elevates our brand presence.
• Monitor news and industry trends to identify media opportunities 
• Support content partnerships that enhance visibility and align with our strategic goals.

About you. mo koe

• Proven experience managing media relations, with strong existing relationships across New Zealand media and a sharp news sense.
• A natural storyteller with excellent copywriting skills and the ability to craft engaging, on-brand content.
• Commercially savvy, with the ability to understand business priorities and translate them into strategic communications.
• Comfortable working across multiple brands and projects, with strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and collaborative, with a proactive mindset and a passion for amplifying brand stories
