Our Supply Product Management & Engineering team are looking for a driven Senior Software Engineer to join their team. You will contribute to the overall software landscape for the Flight Centre Global Supply businesses, and be using extensive software development skills and experience. This role will work on technical and business problems of the highest scope, complexity, and ambiguity.

Day to day:
Be proficient with pattern design to create resilient and fault-tolerant systems
Design, develop and deploy backend microservices hosted in AzureCloud (azure functions, container applications, web apps) and APIs primarily using .Net, C#, Terraform
Know how to create and maintain IT architecture, large-scale data stores, and cloud-based systems
Build scalable deployment pipelines, to support continuous integration and continuous delivery
Participate in code reviews with other engineers to provide feedback to ensure we maintain quality, standards, meets requirements and compliance
Maintain and improve our documentation across code bases, architectures and our knowledge bases
Collaborate in our cross-functional Product Management and Engineering teams to plan and deliver high quality solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment
Contribute to the team, to plan, design and build elegant solutions
Take technical responsibility for all stages and/or iterations in a software development project, providing method specific technical advice and guidance to project stakeholders
Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure solutions meet both customer and business requirements
You'll be perfect for the role if you have:
5+ year's experience as a .net software engineer
Previous experience as a Backend Engineer
Experience with Azure Cloud components such as Azure Functions, Container applications, Document DB (CosmosDB, table storage), MS SQL,Blob containers, Service Bus, APIM
Proven experience in building user-friendly, responsive web applications for desktop and mobile
Experience with .Net/C# coding, unit-testing, debugging, and automation techniques. You are proficient in some of the following: C#, Yaml
Proven experience in designing, building high traffic reliable and performant microservices
Experience in building JSON-based RESTful APIs, as well as CRON/Queue/Blob triggered microservices.
Experience with DevOps tooling & practices valuing a DevOps culture
Experience with observability tools, such as logging (Application Insights) and monitoring (Grafana)
Passionate about/experienced with open source and developer tools
