We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Senior Business Analyst to join our D365 Finance & Operations team. This role is critical to the success of our enterprise finance transformation initiatives, focusing on optimising business processes, gathering requirements, and supporting system enhancements across the D365 F&O platform. You will act as a key liaison between our finance business users and the functional/technical team, ensuring solutions are aligned to business needs while maintaining operational integrity across a complex and highly customised environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end business analysis activities across projects and BAU workstreams, with a focus on Finance modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Cash & Bank Management
Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews to capture and validate business requirements, pain points, and future-state goals
Analyse, map, and document as-is and to-be business processes
Collaborate closely with functional consultants, providing them with clear, structured requirements to support FDD creation
Participate in the review of functional design and solution proposals to ensure alignment with business needs
Support test planning and execution by defining acceptance criteria, preparing test scenarios, and assisting with UAT coordination
Contribute to change management, training documentation, and process handovers to operational teams
Track and communicate progress, risks, and dependencies to the Product Manager and other key stakeholders
Help assess business impact of Microsoft D365 F&O updates and participate in version upgrade readiness analysis
About You:
Essential:
5+ years of Business Analysis experience, including 2+ years on projects or BAU involving Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations
Strong understanding of financial processes, particularly GL, AR, AP, Cash & Bank, and how they are supported in ERP systems
Proven ability to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements
Strong skills in process mapping, stakeholder engagement, and business impact analysis
Proficient with Azure DevOps or similar tools for managing user stories and backlog items
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence, challenge, and align diverse stakeholder groups
Experience working in an agile or hybrid delivery environment
Desirable:
Experience working in a multi-entity, multi-currency finance environment
Background in travel, retail, or similar fast-paced industries
Exposure to Power BI or the Power Platform is a bonus
