We are currently looking for an Accounts Payable Officer to join our vibrant Finance Team.  

The role of the Accounts Payable officer is to provide financial, administrative and clerical support to the organisation in ensuring timely and accurate payment to our suppliers. The role extends to assisting with the process of verifying and reconcile accounting payables in compliance with financial policies and procedures.

This is a 12 month contract

A day in the life:

• Maintain supplier information in the Accounts Payable System
• Help operational staff and suppliers with queries
• Work cohesively with the wider finance team to make sure accounts payable processes are followed accurately
• Perform, review and manage the entire accounts payable process
• Interact across divisions, with upper level management & with vendors
• Assist supporting our 3-way matching of invoices with our teams that  manage this system and process
• Code, enter and match purchase ledger invoices to purchase orders

Who you are:

• Minimum 1 year experience in an Accounts Payable role
• Ability to use Microsoft productivity software such as Excel and Word
• Excellent Communication skills
• Advanced time management skills
• Strong problem solving skills
• An intermediate knowledge of Excel - Pivot table and Vlookups
