Flight Centre Travel Group are looking for an Accounts Payable Officer to join the team on a fixed-term contract.
Global Supply is the Land/Air division of Flight Centre Travel Group, which comprises of brands such as Global Touring (Topdeck and Backroads), DMC Ground Operations and Hotels, as well as internal procurement, Airlines, and distribution businesses. We have a Global Shared Services area for Transactional Finance functions
The Accounts Payable Officer will be responsible for Account reconciliation and the associated queries. This involves, but is not limited to account reconciliation, supplier queries and correspondence, Selling Partner queries and invoice discrepancies. The Accounts Payable Officer will also focus on process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
A Day in the Life...
Timely and accurate query resolution.
Clear communication with Selling partners, suppliers and customers.
Account Reconciliation.
Work closely with banks and other financial institutes to ensure payments are paid timely and accurately.
Recoup payments from suppliers whenever is necessary.
Knowledge of your suppliers – Ability to interpret supplier contracts and understand product type.
Ad hoc projects.
System upgrade & project testing day to day operations.
Ad-hoc projects to continually improve the team processes and controls.
Investigation and implementation of new processes as per best practice.
Implement processes, policies, and technology.
SLA and Team KPIs met.
Automation business goals met.
Perform financial and operational analysis to support recommended actions provided to leadership team.
Who you are...
Excellent back-office system(s) knowledge.
Reservation - Travelbox & Resercation Manager.
ERP – Microsoft D365.
Workflow Tools – Salesforce, Basware Cloud & etc.
Others Integrated Systems – Spurwing, Bavel, other 3rd party invoicing tools & etc.
Banking – HSBC, Troovo, eNett, WEX & etc.
BPM – PRIME.
Microsoft office – Excel, Words, PowerPoints & etc.
Highly developed Customer Service skills to ensure mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers, partners and customers.
Deliver outstanding customer experience.
High attention to detail and ability to achieve resolution.
Proactive approach to challenges and opportunities.
Ability to think ‘outside the box’.
Ability to interpret bank statements, supplier invoices/statements and documentation.
Fluency in financial concepts.
