We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing team. The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation and operation of our shared build and hosting platforms. The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer role will support and enable engineering teams with our DevOps practices and tooling and help drive the best for our customers whilst maintaining the integrity, performance and security of our cloud platform.

Day to day:
Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines to build (ADO, GitHub Actions), test and release software across all our environments
Manage our Azure Cloud Infrastructure accounts within the overall Flight Centre account
Improving efficiency by automating all aspects of cloud infrastructure, testing and IaC deployment
Own the quality of what we build, through automation and observability to ensure operational reliability and performance
Participate design sessions, build efficient, testable and maintainable cloud solutions with the right balance between solving the problem at hand and not over-engineering your solution
Review security findings and implement remediation tasks
Participate in code reviews with other engineers to provide feedback to ensure we maintain quality, standards, meets requirements and compliance
Research technologies and trends to contribute to our solutions
Maintain and improve our documentation across code bases, architectures and our knowledge bases
You'll be perfect for the role if you have:
Experience working as a DevOps Engineer and in Azure cloud
Strong understanding of Cloud Security concepts and experience delivering solutions that conform to Azure security best practice and relevant data handling policies
Strong understanding of Cloud Networking and routing
Understanding and proven experience in implementing Continuous Delivery
Hand-on experience running containerised applications with Docker that are built for scale using Azure services such as AKS
Experience with serverless platforms such as Azure Functions, Container apps, Logic Apps
Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
Experience with observability tools, such as logging (Splunk, Application Insights) and monitoring (New Relic, Grafana)
Experience with Linux/Windows and shell / scripting languages (bash/Python)
