Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG) is one of the world’s largest travel groups with a vast leisure and corporate travel sales network that extends throughout four major regions: Australia and New Zealand, The Americas, EMEA, and Asia.  This onsite position is based at out South Bank, QLD HQ.

Purpose: 

The Enterprise Risk Systems and Data Analyst will be responsible for managing the company’s Integrated Risk Management (IRM) and Continuous Monitoring platforms. This role requires strong data analytics and scripting skills with the ability to translate complex risk data into actionable intelligence. Experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platforms or similar no code/low code SAAS platforms is preferred

Primary Accountabilities & Objectives:

Risk Systems Management

• Administer and optimise the company’s Integrated Risk Management
• Work with internal stakeholders to develop risk dashboards, reports, and analytics that provide valuable insights
  Maintain data integrity, system configuration, and user access within GRC platforms (IRM) and Continuous Monitoring platforms to support enterprise-wide risk management activities

Data Analytics & Reporting

• Analyse large datasets to identify risk trends, anomalies, and potential areas of concern
• Develop custom reports, visualisations, and automated alerts to support risk management and compliance teams
• Utilise machine learning, predictive analytics, or automation where applicable to enhance monitoring capabilities. Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Support
• Ensure alignment of risk systems and processes with regulatory requirements, industry standards (e.g., ISO 31000, COSO, PCI DSS), and internal policies.Support the implementation of risk frameworks, control testing, and compliance monitoring through the GRC platform
• Work local and regional (Americas, EMEA, Asia) risk and compliance

Stakeholder Engagement & Process Improvement

• Recommend and implement system enhancements, automation, and process efficiencies
• Provide training and support to key users of the risk platforms to maximise adoption and effectiveness
• Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, finance, and operational teams to improve risk management processes

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field
• Experience with GRC platforms (e.g., Diligent One, RSA Archer, MetricStream, ServiceNow GRC, OneTrust)
• Experience with risk monitoring automation, machine learning models, or process automation tools (preferred)
• Additional certifications (e.g., CRISC, CISA, CISSP, or a relevant data analytics certification) are advantageous
• Advanced data analytics skills, including experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or Python/R for data visualisation and reporting
• Salary: $95-105k Plus Super (based on experience)
