If you're ready to build a serious career in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, this is the role to do it in. We're looking for an emerging D365 FO Functional Consultant to join our Supply Tech Finance team, a close-knit group working at the intersection of ERP technology and complex travel finance operations.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on, learning-forward role where you'll support the configuration, implementation, and ongoing optimisation of D365 FinOps across modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and financial reporting. You'll work alongside experienced consultants, Finance Product Managers, and a cross-functional Engineering team spanning Australia and India — gaining real project exposure in a genuinely supportive environment.

What You'll Do

  • Configure and support D365 FinOps modules, including GL, AP, AR, and financial workflows with guidance from senior consultants
  • Document business requirements, functional specifications, and process maps to support Finance system changes and enhancements
  • Assist with the implementation, testing, and quality assurance of D365 FinOps solutions and module configurations
  • Support end-user training, change management activities, and post-go-live hypercare
  • Help troubleshoot functional issues arising from version upgrades, configuration changes, or integration events
  • Maintain project documentation in Confluence and manage tasks in Jira across the FCTG Atlassian space
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Architects, and Finance stakeholders to deliver effective solutions

About You

  • Hold a Bachelor of Accounting degree, which is preferred. Or a Finance degree
  • 1–2 years' experience with ERP systems ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or similar platforms (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
  • Foundational understanding of core finance processes such as Accounts Payable, General Ledger, or Procure-to-Pay
  • Strong desire to build deep D365 FinOps functional expertise within a complex, real-world environment
  • Clear communicator with the ability to work effectively across Finance, Engineering, and Product teams
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Finance, or a related field
  • Knowledge of Power Platform, Azure, or data migration concepts is a bonus

Why Join Us?

You'll gain hands-on exposure to a live D365 FinOps environment supporting a global travel company — with real project ownership from day one. You'll be surrounded by experienced mentors, a collaborative cross-functional team, and a clear pathway to grow into a highly capable D365 FO specialist.
