FCM Travel is seeking a Proposal Content Manager to join our RFP team, which functions in a fast-paced environment as part of a larger sales operation. This candidate will be responsible for ensuring our content library and all associated documents and information are up-to-date and easily accessible. In addition, this role will help develop processes to streamline the maintenance of proposal- and other sales-related content.
Key Responsibilities
Manage RFP response content library (Responsive)
Become the knowledge manager of all FCM products and services for our team
Establish content management processes to incorporate new responses and/or edits to existing information in Responsive
Enhance database search functionality by soliciting feedback from end-users and tag as appropriate
Work with subject matter experts (SMEs), marketing, product development, leadership, and others to develop, update and maintain the library
Maintain SME list and communicate updates with the team
Regularly check for expiring content to update or remind SMEs to review, as needed
Edit content to ensure it meets guidelines:
Answers question
Is concise and crisp
Maintains consistency of voice
Reflects FCM branding, style, and formatting
Become our Responsive SME, add/support training of new users (as appropriate), and assist with complex uploads or other functionality requests as needed
Manage access to supplemental sales material available via other repositories such as SharePoint, Highspot, and Smartsheet
Interface with proposal colleagues in other FCM markets worldwide
Experience & Qualifications
Minimum five years of content management or RFP writing experience – travel industry experience required
Thorough understanding of RFP processes and drivers of RFP success
Proactively share best practices with team
Collaborate with team and consistently communicate updates
Moderate the new/updated content queue in Responsive
Technically proficient in RFP database technologies (Responsive a plus), Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint, and Salesforce
Excellent project management and organizational skills, including the ability to marshal resources, communicate, and manage timelines
Skilled writer, editor, and proofreader
Has a high attention to detail
Analytical and critical thinking skills for understanding complex ideas and then explaining them simply to others in both oral and written formats
Ability to multi-task and effectively balance priorities
Ability to take control and manage tasks or projects independently from start to end
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Solutions-driven self-starter who can jump in and support the team during extremely busy periods

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $90,000 - $100,000. Base salary is dependent on relevant factors, including experience, geographic location, and job requirements.
