Reporting into the FCM President for the Americas, and as a member of a coordinated global brand team, you will be instrumental in driving marketing and brand strategies for the FCM brand across the US and Canada.
Strategically you will work with the senior executive team in region to assist in developing marketing strategies that enable brand growth and profit. Once broad objectives are established you will manage and lead a team of marketing personnel to develop and refine the objectives and key deliverables required.
Operating at the center of the FCM marketing department for the US and Canada, and working closely with your global counterparts, the VP of Marketing must have excellent communication skills. Our ideal candidate has experience developing and executing marketing campaigns while managing and inspiring a team.
Key Responsibilities
Translate brand goals into plans and profitable go-to-market strategies.
Champion the FCM brand and ensure adherence to the brand standards and values.
Work with PR to grow and promote FCM’s position and develop top of mind awareness.
Maximize FCMs presence at key industry events and client-facing engagements.
Outline and direct marketing campaigns that drive lead generation and support the progression of the sales funnel.
Work with digital resources to maximize paid programs and lead nurture activities.
Coordinate customer communication and engagement activities to drive retention and satisfaction.
Develop customer-focused marketing campaigns to support upsell opportunities and revenue growth.
Set strategies, monitor performance and drive excellence.
Develop and present an annual budget with quarterly reforecasts.
Help build and monitor an ROI-driven marketing function leveraging various performance marketing tools.
Formulate a deep understanding of the FCM customer through customer segmentation, analysis and activity performance.
Experience & Qualifications
An essential part of the role is to understand the principles of B2B marketing and how to implement activities that will have an impact on the sales funnel.
An understanding of digital marketing mediums and how the various platforms play a role in integrated marketing strategies for the B2B segment is required.
The VP of Marketing will coordinate the activities of the FCM Marketing team and work closely with other regional and global departments to deliver key objectives.
To ensure that plans are always cost effective and have an impact in not only inquiry but sales, reporting is an essential part of the role.
Key decision-making skills are crucial as the role will make strategic decisions. A clear understanding of the company’s long-term plans is essential as the individual will be required to deliver on these items.
This is a senior marketing role and as such suitable, classically trained candidates will need to have in excess of 3 - 5 years of dedicated Marketing Management experience with at least two of these years in a similar role with a known brand.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $135,000. Base salary is dependent on relevant factors, including experience, geographic location, and job requirements.
