About The Opportunity

Step into a high-impact 6-month assignment where you’ll play a key role in shaping positive employee experiences across a dynamic organization. As a Human Resources Business Partner, you’ll act as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, guiding them through complex people matters with confidence and care. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where your expertise in employee relations will directly influence workplace culture, performance, and engagement. Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted HR partner to managers and employees on employee relations matters
  • Conduct and manage workplace investigations involving policy violations, employee complaints, and interpersonal conflicts
  • Partner with leadership on performance management processes, including coaching, documentation, PIPs, and terminations
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employment practices to ensure consistency and compliance
  • Support conflict resolution and facilitate difficult employee conversations
  • Maintain thorough and confidential documentation related to investigations and employee matters
  • Collaborate with legal and HR leadership on complex employee relations issues
  • Identify trends and recommend practical solutions to improve employee experience and mitigate risk
  •  Support additional HR initiatives and projects during the temporary assignment
  • Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and accessible work environment where all Flighties feel welcomed, respected, and supported to thrive.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with a strong focus on employee relations and investigations
  • Demonstrated experience independently managing performance management and workplace investigations
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Experience supporting multi-state employee populations (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (preferred)
  • HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) is an asset

*Vacation, Personal, and Sick time accrual rates will vary based on full-time or part-time employee status. Recognized Holidays are either paid time off or, if required to work due to job requirements, holiday pay rate, and may vary depending on state.


Location – Boston, MA

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $85,000 - $95,000. Base salary is dependent on relevant factors, including experience, geographic location, and job requirements.
