About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, you will be using your skills in accurate data and reporting, whilst providing insight into the numbers and giving thought out recommendations. Combining an ability to analyse large data sets with simple and clear explanations will be key to your success. You will be joining a team of innovative high performers who rely on collaboration, adaptability, and continuous improvement to achieve market leading outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation and analysis of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Detailed understanding of end to end transactional finance process
  • (including AP, AR and Cash Management).
  • Continuous process improvement to ensure the business remains in line with best practices.
  • Ability to understand, review and improve monthly processes.
  • Responsible for key monthly calculations and analysis requiring accuracy and timeliness along with collaborating with other brands, discipline leads and Finance Business Partner
  • Reporting on financial results and providing insights behind the numbers, including reporting to and collaboration across the Corporate Travel division
  • Responsible for maintenance and some development of analytical and financial dashboards including tools to help analyse transactional data, P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow results
  • Producing innovative ideas through collaboration on business wide analysis tools to better support and understand the business
  • Support commercial decision making to drive improved returns on capital investments and prioritisation of spend
  • Own and maintain robust and reliable tools that support the forecast and budget processes

About you

You are an energetic customer centric finance professional, a commercial thinker, naturally curious and able to build relationships across all levels of management. You’re someone who is genuinely passionate about interpreting high volumes of data to provide insights to the business. You can think commercially, be proactive, manage deadlines as well as think outside of the box to solve complex problems.

  • At least 2 years’ experience (Accounting, Reporting or analytical role)
  • Experience in PowerBI or other similar data visualisation technologies
  • Comfortable using Excel to manipulate, transform and present data
  • CA/CPA qualification or another relevant post graduate qualification, or studying towards.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance or Accounting
  • Advanced time management and prioritisation skills
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in a business with high transactional volumes (Desirable)
