As the Okta Solutions Engineer you'll play a crucial role in helping FCTG implement and optimise Okta's identity and access management solutions. You'll be involved in all stages of the administration and configuration of our multiple Okta instances and work with a dedicated project team to consolidate our multiple Okta instances and implement a new global standard for our user Identity Management.
The role requires a rare combination of technical savviness and the ability to find simple solutions to complex business problems. Day in the life:
Working within a multidisciplinary project team to consolidate multiple Okta tenants into 1 global Okta tenant
Designing and implementing solutions to support mission-critical and business programs
Providing technical expertise to implement best practice configuration and security controls within our Okta tenants
Providing direction to the project team on design, implementation and testing plans as part of the Okta Consolidation project
Performing risk management to minimise business impact and risks
Contributing to the ongoing refinement and development of Okta Administration standards
Documenting as built / best practice knowledge base articles throughout the life of the project
Working with the Productivity and Collaboration team to set standards for Okta application integrations
Offers Product support for implemented solutions
Understands the importance of security to own work and the operation of the organisation
You'll be perfect for the role if you have:
3+ years in Okta administration and implementation of Okta services including Okta Identity Cloud, Adaptive Authentication, Universal
Directory, and Lifecycle Management
Experience in designing and implementation of solutions across multiple countries and businesses - Ability to identify, analyse, and resolve complex technical issues related to identity and access management.
Some experience with technologies and protocols to support identity federation and robust access control models (e.g., SAML 2.0,
XACML, WSFederation, WS-Trust, OAuth, OpenID).
Strong technical skills, including experience with identity standards such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and LDAP.
2+ years of SaaS deployment experience is preferred.
2+ years of application programming experience is strongly preferred.
