As a vital member of the Product team, your role involves curating a premier selection of products tailored for discerning travelers. A day in the life:
- Ensure every member of the product team is aligned with the agreed-upon deliverables within the specified timeline
- Provide relevant and timely communication to internal and external stakeholders on milestones to deliver business outcomes
- Revenue - Creating a marketing budget, value-adds & inclusions and Quality Assurance
- Market pricing analysis of the market for resorts/hotels, Trip-a-Deal, Hoot, Travel Online, Inspiring Escapes, OTAs & Direct
- Deal visibility – be on top of deals from initial cutting of deal right through to conversion & booking stage – inputs touch every part of the business – keep on top of offer constantly and market competition
- Strategize distribution & media plan and analyse results of campaign
- Drafting process flow documents to guarantee that each product pillar has a smooth method for executing the negotiated range of transactions
- Internal Stakeholder Engagement & Coordination and proactively communicate and engage with key stakeholders
- Networking opportunities to unearth new products
- Strong business acumen, KPIs and key deliverables, as well as being customer centric
Who you are:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a product role within travel, leisure, retail, or wholesale environments
- Demonstrated experience negotiating commercial agreements and supplier partnerships
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering product initiatives from concept through launch
- Experience managing and developing team members, including coaching and performance management
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing revenue-focused initiatives and budgets
- Experience conducting pricing analysis, competitor reviews, and market assessments
- Excellent stakeholder management, presentation, communication, and influencing skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
